Story: Waxy Chic, LLC was founded because I wanted to create something unique that evoked feelings and connect with customers well past their purchase. As a single mother going back to a 9 to 5 did not seem feasible. The most significant reason is I wanted to do something I loved to do. I wanted to create. I wanted to make a difference and make someone smile at a quote that made them laugh or scripture that got them through dark times or a poem that inspired them to write again. A desire to motivate people to not settle in life and go chase their dreams, and do what makes them happy. I didn’t just want to make candles out of simple containers and jars. I sought to be different by adding a unique style and personality to the candles I was making. I wanted to make a statement not just with scents, but with quotes, scriptures, and poetry that evoke feeling. I make scents last in your memory forever. Each time you smell one of my fragrances and read one of my poems will provide you with a sense of purpose. They also create a positive atmosphere that will linger forever.
